Yuck.

Houston Loses 3-11 to the New York Mets.

I'm sorry, but that's just Yuck.

Well Andrew, look on the bright side. The Met fans were probably pretty happy - it seems like they lose all the time!

I'd have to agree with you if it weren't for the fact that The Mets are leading by six games in there division. They've won 79 games this year while only losing 61. That means that they have a Winning percentage of .561. So it doesn't seem to me that they lose all the time.

O.....Kay
I've lived longer than you and I seem to remember them losing more than they ever won. I could be wrong. Don;t quote me on that but I "feel" that I'm right so I must be... right...Right?

Just keep your facts and statistics to yourself. And always remember... It's Just A Game.

I will agree, they haven't always been this good. And I will, for this comment at least, leave the statistics out of it and let the players speak for them selfs. just look at who they have:

David Write: He is one of the best third basemen in the league. He has good defense and great power hitting. His Running isn't to shabby either.

Carlos Beltran: Beltran, who played for Houston one year, is a speedy center fielder who can make a play when it's needed. Need I remind you, when he was on the Astros, he helped the Astros get into the NLCS.

Pedro Martinez: This guy had an injury earlier in the year. He will be coming back tomorrow afternoon to face Houston though. He has been a dominate pitcher in the past, I'm expecting him to still deliver for New York.

Tom Glavin: We saw him pitch very affectively today. He pitched 7.0 scoreless innings, only allowing 3 hits, and he's 41 years old! I'm sorry, but if that's not good, you tell me what it.

This is just a few. The list goes on. Jose Reyes, Moises Alou(also a former Astros), Billy Wagner(once again, a former Astro).

Just because they weren't good in the past, doesn't mean there not good now. This is the glorious game of Baseball, anything can happen.
