Hello!

This is the first blog I've ever had here so we'll see how it goes.

I am a huge Astros fan. I made this blog so I could write some of my thoughts about the games and the seasons.

Hopefully I'll get around to posting on this every day, but that might not turn out like I'd like it too.

So I guess I'll go ahead and make my first Astro Update!

The Astros, who were 20-38 going into yesterday's road game, came out victorious as Roy Oswalt wins his fifth in a row. The Astros have three games left in this road series against the Dogers. But the Astros are currently the worst national league team on the road. they are the second worst in the major leagues, behind the Devil Rays.

Roy Oswalt earned his 111th win with the help of a two run home run from Jason Lane. The clutch home run came off of Chad Billingsly in the fifth inning to put the Astros on top 4-0. If Jason Lane can, not only hit more clutch hits like this, but also hit less clutch hits, I think we could be hearing a lot more out of him. The Dogers would score only one run in the loss.

In my eyes the Astros just need to take it one game at a time, one team at a time. They need to come in tonight backing Matt Albers with all they've got. A sweep on the road could be a big boost.
